Favoriser et maintenir le tissu social pour la transition verte dans les quartiers
The expected results of the project aim to provide better evidence to public authorities and non-profit organizations on the conditions under which cultural participation can strengthen the social fabric and civic engagement in neighborhoods, while contributing to their ecological transition. The project should improve understanding of the role of the cultural and creative sectors in participatory decision-making processes, community engagement and the green transition. It should also propose effective methods and strategies for strengthening residents' sense of belonging and collective commitment.
Proposals should explore these conditions through a review of existing data and the collection of comparable data, while analyzing the benefits of cultural participation for vulnerable individuals and communities. An in-depth analysis of contextual variables (socio-demographic data, social infrastructure, mental health, polarization, security, etc.) is required.
Three concrete, evidence-based strategies should be proposed, tested and evaluated in at least three neighborhoods in different member states or associated countries. The project should formulate recommendations for public and associative players to encourage cultural participation, identifying the necessary skills, partnerships and conditions. A participative and transdisciplinary approach, involving disciplines and experts in the human and social sciences, is essential to maximize the project's societal impact.
